Jake is in the kitchen, and he's making cereal. It's boring, it's girly, and it's also sort of making Jack hungry. "Jake."

Jake doesn't look up. "No, Jack. This is mine." Jack sulks. Jake laughs. "I know you're pouting, so stop. Why can't you make your own?"

Jack is sitting on the counter, and he drums his heels against the side without a thought to how Annabelle does the same thing. "I want yours."

Jake looks up now through his hair, amused. He sits down, and Jack hops up to tuck his hair back. Impulsively, he sits on Jake. Jake pushes him half-heartedly. "Off."

"No. Share your cereal." Jack reaches for the spoon, and Jake lifts it over his head. A drop of milk falls to his cheek, and Jack laughs before touching his tongue to it and licking it off.

"Aww, milk for the kitty?" Jake touches the tag Jack wears around his neck, and Jack allows it resignedly.

"I'm not a kitty, you know."

"Of course you aren't, Jack." Jake slips an arm around Jack's waist and loads his spoon with cereal. "Now eat up."
