Welcome to Irish Feet, your source for all things Irish dance! Included is the Internet's first Irish dance dictionary and a great deal of information geared primarily to new dancers or curious fans of the style.

The site was created in early 2001 and went on a two year hiatus in 2004. It is now back and slowly growing.

In the archived sections, including feis documentaries, dance class diaries and other things of that nature, the commentary has been left unedited. There will be typos and misspelling and I do apologize for it.

Remember that the information provided on this website is going to be geared towards North American dancers, as that is where I hail from and competed within. This doesn't mean that you might not find useful hints or tips if you're a dancer outside of this region, but it does mean that you might find discrepancies or things that are not common where you are.
