Dance Diary in August
September 6, 2001
We had a break for a month so that Siobhan could rest and go to this meeting for training for the TCRG test. She's thinking of taking it next year, when it is in California so that she won't need to have Aisling come.
Speaking of Aisling, she came today. She's really tall, and looks kinda like Jean Butler/Eileen Martin/Bernadette Flynn. She had really big hair!
She looked like she came from a super-feis or something!
Siobhan went over the treble jig and taught us the first step on the left foot.
And by the way, I placed third at the August Webfeis! I'm now in Novice! Our hardshoes came today, as well! I'm really happy about that!
We finished our slip jig and then put it to music. Then we began on a new one. It's really hard and has lots of swivels in it! I'm not sure I'll be able to get it down right away!
Keelin sent a letter to us! She's having a great time in Ireland, and she met up with three of her siblings there, too!

We learned a new step to the treble jig, and Siobhan is teaching us the beginning of a treble reel! It's really fun to do!
No class next week because of the feis!

We learned the left foot of our new treble reel. It's really tricky, because I'm not sure when to turn.
Siobhan was gone because she was at a study for the TCRG test, so Aisling came and taught us some cool show choreography!
It's really tricky, but fun!
